Houston TX and TKE paint party was a huge success. On April 24th 2014, Neon1x made it's debut in Houston,TX by bringing its new Neon Paint Party to Club Pure in downtown Houston. This years 2014 TKE-A-PALOOZA, which is held each year to benefit the St.Jude's Children's Research Hospital was a huge success. What a turnout it was! Lines formed all the way down main street with over 1000 kids all wearing white. Just hoping they could get in and get blasted by UV neon paint. We have never had the challenge of blasting paint in a room this small, but that didn't stop Neon1x from bringing their newly automatic refillable paint cannons, straight from the Atlanta Special FX's assembly line. Neon1x blasted over 650 people in the bar with paint for 5 hours straight. The bar was at max capacity they had to turn people away from the door. Even as buses arrived to take people back to the campus the students of Houston University refused to leave and kept going until 2 am.
What made this night even more special for Neon1x and Atlanta Special FX, was the initiation of new technology allowing fire control from the iphone or Ipad. And with a push of a button we can now release Cyro Jets, or even better a paint blast. Then just simply hit the buttton to refill the cannons and repeat. The team just laughed and said "At this rate I'll be doing this from home." Neon1x has been keeping busy with the college circuits and and love the fact that the proceeds were sent to benefit St Judes Childrens Hospital.
